After countless interviews with VARIOUS employers, I FINALLY got a job. I was hired by River Oaks Charter School in Stockton. ROCS as it is more commonly known, is apart of Aspire Charter Schools based in Palo Alto, CA. My position title is After School Tutor. I will be working with 4th/5th graders on their homework, more specifically math. I am so excited to work at the same school I graduated from. I attended River Oaks from 2001-2003, when it was grades K-8. Now the elementary school is K-5. I hope that this is my foot in the door to pursuing education as a career. I am so thankful that I have been blessed with a job in this terrible economy.
